Flush out and disinfection prior to use?
- Before starting to use the temporary tap water system it must be cleaned (flush through or mechanical cleaning) and/or disinfected.
- Mains with an internal diameter up to 35 mm must be flushed through. Because new mains are not always used and/or the hygiene circumstances are not always optimal, secondary supply mains with an internal diameter bigger than 35 mm must be cleaned using wads with disinfectant and then flushed with tap water.
- The equipment used and pumps must be disinfected and flushed through with tap water.
Before making use of temporary tap water systems these must first be disinfected using a disinfected with a KIWA-ATA mark of approval.
